Two day recovery after bike accident

Wednesday and Thursday 7 and 8 August.  Spent time recovering while scabs and bruises settled.  I don't know about you but I really miss not being able to train.

The Weymouth half Ironman is fast approaching.  I would/should be starting to pick up the pace on things around now.  My base work has been going well and nows the time to pick things up.

I think that it is also very important not to rush back into training too soon.  If I do it invariably makes things worse, and end up taking even longer to recover.

So a couple of days off from training are in order, and despite the withdraws symptoms I am keenly suffering from I managed to steer clear.
